warnings ♪ Diva - she's a warning in itself. Oh, blood and murder.
effects ♪ Obsession, jealousy, desire to kill, love. Yes, you saw that. LOVE.
notes ♪ The song is, well, Diva's song - translated into English.
---
I am the voice that calls your name.
I am searching for you, love.
I am searching for you.
She sits at the center of the stage, bathed in light while the rest covered in darkness. Shadows lick the edge of her circle, slowly consuming what is around her, but she pays no mind. Her attention is on the sleeping girl cradled in her arms, a girl with the same face as hers. Diva smiles but there's no gentleness in that smile, only murder and longing. Long pale fingers rise to touch the sleeping girl's face, caressing it as a child would with a doll.
Where has love gone?
Nothing remains
Only blood
And sadness prevails.
A blade gleams at her side, the broken half of a katana. She picks it up and does not wince as the edge cuts her hand. Blood trickles down the length of the blade. Down, down, down it falls on the sleeping girl's cheek, a blot of red against pale skin. Diva leans forward, blue flaring into life, the knife above the girl's head. The smile she wears is toxic, nothing but poison and death.
"Sister," she croons as if a mother with her child, "Dear Sister~"
My heart bleeds for you.
I crawl in the darkness.
"My beautiful, honest and beloved sister. It's not fair that only you got to wear beautiful dresses and lived in a mansion and spoiled rotten. It's not fair that only you were loved and pampered and given a family. It's not fair that you got everything I wanted. But then again, where are they now? Those people you call family and friends? Won't they save you now, Dear Sister?"
An emotion crosses over her expression: hate twisted with jealousy, with desire, with love, with regret. Familial love. But it disappears just as quickly, a passing thought, and Diva once more composes herself. Steadies the hand that holds the blade.
"There can only be one Queen, Saya, and that's going to be me~"
The knife comes down, the motion smooth and effortless as the blade plunges into the girl's chest. Her eyes open, red and bright, and stare up in horror at Diva as she stands up, leaving the blade in its place. Blood stain her pristine white dress - her blood - but she cares not as she watches Saya slowly crystallize, creeping up from where the wound was made, the expression of terror and shock frozen forever.
"Poison to you as yours is to me."
I am the voice
Of love that cannot live
Yet it doesn't die
Never!
A blue rose drops to Saya's chest, the crystallized form cracking quietly, splintering, as the shadows close upon the twins, Diva's smile everlasting.
"Goodbye, dear Sister. I hate you so much and yet I love you so. Isn't that strange?"
The curtains drop.

[ Eyes flared bright blue in the darkness as they stare into the Dreamberry, angered and disdainful. A beat then the color fades as Diva smirks. ]
Dear Sister, have the decency at least to not invade my dreams. [ She lazily sinks lower into her sheets and pillows, feigning a yawn. Fingers wrapped around a crystal figurine of the same girl in the dream. ] I hope that doesn't go against what we agreed upon, Mister Policeman. I never ate my sister after all. Not that I could anyway~
