The way people get affected by whatever's going on at the time. I mean, is there a set pattern or something? Do some people get affected over and over? Do some never get affected?
[Since this is community building numero uno, Buffy's swinging by for her usual dose of spaceman company. Of course, there's a person on the front step and...hmm. Putting her current goal on the back burner, she tries to grab the girl's attention with a few simple hand-waves.]
[max's attention is caught after the blonde girl speaks to her and she looks up from the journal, surveying her. she doesn't think she's spoken to her yet.]
Oh. No, I'm fine. Just trying to re-familiarize myself with what goes on around here.
[yeah, she's read it two or three times at this point, but she doesn't want to miss any details. knowing her luck, the one thing she misses will be the one thing she needs to know in the future.]
