I dunno. I've been thinking about this and I respect this attitude and I think it is one that a lot of people secretly wish they could enact in their own lives. It's not that I disagree with it working for you, although it does make life difficult, especially with my parents not being very happy about you and I. I personally pride myself on having learned how to play the social game and being able to do the whole give-respect-get-respect thing, but I find it harder and harder to keep up my nice manners the more and more I lose interest in the kind of life I was building-- one modeled on my dad's. I would just rather have whether or not I use my skills to people please be a choice and not a reflex
