Summary: In a world where super-villains have to compete against each other each day to gain the respect of the Evil League of Evil and the support of the Bank of Evil, Mischievous Misha struggles with both, plus a distinctive lack of new ideas for heists. He's been in the business for quite some time, and though his minions and his best friend Jared keep him busy just fine, it's only when Jensen moves into the house next to Misha's that he becomes aware there's something more to life than being evil. What he doesn't know is that Jensen is a villain like himself, just younger and an up and coming one, and only moved here to put Misha out of the way.

Music: I wrote this story under unusually heavy musical influence. So you'll find links thrown into it every once in a while and I highly recommend listening to them as you read, because those were the songs I listened to when I wrote the respective parts. There's AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Blue Öyster Cult, Iron Maiden...Author's Note: Okay, I have to admit that I always wanted to take part in a bigbang challenge just to write a masterpost like this! There's a bit of history to it, though - I originally began writing a whole different story and ended up with writer's block. I was so frustrated that I didn't write anything for weeks, and then needed to get back to writing something eventually. So I asked for prompts on tumblr, and Shakdevi prompted me with something along the line of “I'd love to read a Cockles story in a Despicable-Me!AU where Misha is a supervillain, because we're Misha's minions.” And the prompt stuck, I pondered and the ideas just kept flowing, so in the end I asked her if it was okay to use the prompt as my bigbang submission. So here it is. A homage to Despicable Me and Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog.
