[Sanji was sitting at the kitchen table, thumbing through a new cookbook he'd just got and absently letting the messages on his Dreamberry cycle through when one veeery familiar voice reached his ears.

And that, that was a voice he’d be able to place even if she’d only muttered one syllable, but three whole sentences-Sanji’s head jerked up immediately, eyes wide with disbelief as they landed on his Dreamberry.]

[There's a brief pause, and then she sounds bewildered.] But that doesn't make any sense. I only saw you guys earlier today. Unless he sent us through time as well--

[Okay, she'll work that out later. More importantly:] Everybody's okay?

*sees Sanji is apparently waiting for him and sighs gratefully, jogging over to join him* I guess you're already talking to Nami, huh?

*speaks into his Dreamberry again* Hey Nami, I'm gonna hang this one up and talk to you on Sanji's thing instead, okay? That's probably easier.

[then there’s Usopp jogging over and Sanji looks up from the Dreamberry to grin at him, nodding happily] Yup. Hearing her voice again is like music to my ears~! Come on, let’s go find her! [turns on his heel to leave, not bothering to wait for Zoro because he’s awesome like that -- but he does at least go at a pace that, while a little rushed, is still slow enough for the directionally challenged idiot to find them]

Anyway, Nami-san...when you say he... Were you just at Sabaody?

...yeah. [The word is flat, and she's quiet for a moment before she continues on, sounding preoccupied. Distracting herself from unpleasant memories by poking at the map function.] Usopp says I can meet you guys halfway. Do you want me to do that or wait for you at the tavern?

*left in the lurch for a moment, expecting them to wait for Zoro, but of course Sanji isn't gonna do that, so Usopp jogs a few steps to catch up, then falls into step right next to Sanji. he reaches over to pull Sanji's wrist on the hand holding his Dreamberry, so he can see Nami again too*

Did you find the map okay? *he's going to leave the other part alone for now--it seems they all arrived from more or less the same point in time, which is weird considering how their arrivals have been staggered* Uh, it's up to you, though. Are you tired? You can just wait for us there if you want. *he squints slightly at the picture on the Dreamberry screen* ...you're not hurt though, right? *he doesn't think he has to clarify that he doesn't mean from the scarecrow attack*

Totally having one at the earliest opportunity, which will be some time after she's confirmed for herself her crew are all okay. And speaking of tired--] No, I can meet you halfway. I'm going to have to walk it anyway, right? May as well start now.

I've found the map. [Which...as she has no idea where she is in relation to anywhere else-- bah.] How do I find you?

Oh, right. *starts to reach for the Dreamberry automatically, then remembers that one's Sanji's, and pulls his own out of his pocket again* There's a way to kind of...connect the two maps together.

*holds his Dreamberry up a little higher so anyone who may or may not be behind him can see what he's doing* *ahem* Zoro, you might want to pay attention. *he pulls up the map and sends the invitation to connect to Nami's Dreamberry* There! Now there should be a dot where we are on your map! And I can see where you are too. All in a day's work for the great Captain Usopp!

[would deliver a swift kick at Zoro for even daring to imply that Nami might not be able to figure out a map, but he's too busy tripping over nothing and then turning to shoot Zoro a look full of WTF instead, because seriously, are you implying that Nami might not be able to figure out a MAP?]

[also, he was totally secretly watching Usopp's demonstration, because Sanji hasn't actually figured out too much about these Dreamberry things yet either >.>]

The hell does that mean, there damn well is. I've ended up out in the desert three times already because of 'em.
