Unhygienic? How is relaxing in the water unhygienic?
Though I have noticed that the water feels a bit unpleasant compared to what I'm used to, it is no different than the feel of the water in the Barge's pool.

Uh, that would be because humans don't tend to stay underwater long enough to find a comfortable spot. They probably think you're drowning...
