And here's the final part about Argentina.

Our hotel room had a bidet. I used it every chance I could. ;)

On the final day we went to Rocio and Nicholas's wedding party. It started at 10 p.m. and didn't end until 6 a.m., which is when they served us breakfast. There were roughly 500 different courses of food and ever-flowing wine and beer. And, since it was Latin America, there was lots of dancing.

Everyone danced, from the 8-year-old to the Lucia's 87-year-old grandmother. It really didn't matter what kind of music they played, people would dance to it. I like dancing so I had fun, but I finally had a chance to see just how right Lucia was when she told me "Argentines love to dance, but they suck at it."

Oh well, we had fun.

First there were appetizers and mixed drinks, then the bride and groom made entrance number 1. Then we all filed upstairs and were introduced to the dance floor with a fucking laser show. Then it was time for dinner number 1 and bride and groom entrance number two, which included smoke machines, a light show and a music video that featured photos of them as children. The dancing all night interspersed with more meals, including at least three different dessert courses and breakfast at the end.

The production values for this wedding party were pretty high. They also had an ingenious way to keep people interested in the dancing. After the first two rounds, they distributed glowsticks and glowing necklaces and other rave kinda stuff and filled the dance floor with lasers. Everyone put glowy shit all over them and danced danced danced.

The final gimmick of the night was something they borrowed from Rio de Janeiro's carnival celebration, which was to distribute funny hats and noise-making props to everyone for more dancing.

Well, when in Rome.
