I just conversed with someone who has that same idea that Mexico needs to fix it's own problems. Shut down the border so no one can cross and no commerce can flow and then Mexico will have to deal with it's own problems. One of my main interests is learning new languages and cultures and making that available to others through meeting people from other cultures and making that more possible for others as well. I just recently realized I have some red hair. I could care less about my hair, but it reflects the idea that i'm a combination of different things and that we all are and at least part of us has sometiing in common with every other human being on earth so to criticize someone else for who they are is to criticize yourself as well.

I'm actually feeling stronger and better. Overall probably more so w/out thinking of Michele as romantic possibility, picturing us together. It just sucks not to have the support.

I can't decide wether to go up north like originally planned. It would so helpful for me to cancel and I'd get the opp. to see/meet get to know someone and another point of view. A chance to see what's really going on in Venezuela, Colombia, and Cuba by meeting someone that is living it. A personal connection to another view point. What I live ( Read more... )

I'm feeling extra positive on a hi but still aware of reality (keeping it in check). I had the idea that maybe instead of going to UNAM, I'd go to a different foreign country that I don't know anything about, get my doctorate and start my recruiting process. Maybe Korea.
