Wow, certainly didn't expect to hear from you, nice to hear from you though. I hope your band is doing well.

I have been away from LA, where I lived for the last 6 years. I started making a new life for myself in Maryland. I have a great job, but I am alone a lot of the time, and it gets to me a bit.

Really nice of you to write. I didn't know you still looked at my journal. I haven't written anything in it, in a long time.

BTW, I just found out that book I wrote about, is a movie, _The Door in the Floor_. I'll have to go see it this week. I just stepped out of the airport bookstore with my new book: _Message in a Bottle_. I've got 10 hours of sitting in airport lounges and on airplanes, before I get home: I should be able to read quite a bit of it.

yes the band is doing quite well and so is my new life, new relationship and all... i'm glad everything's finally more settled again.

i hope it'll go well for you and you feel less alone soon, in whatever way. reading is great. i read whenever i feel alone..
