I bow before your doctorandus. Or I will after you graduate.

The older thing - it's not gonna happen except if your forced into clothes you dread. But then you may end up stomping or whining like a two yr old, which balances out the grown up clothes.

Hope the research is fun and your papers astound. Well received academic work can make you feel wiser though doing the happy dance when you receive it usually makes any claims on sudden maturity.

And of course there is that liking to hit things with sticks thing....

Congratulations. It does seem to have gone by really quickly. It seems like yesterday you were writing about just starting the course!

I know right!
It was SO fast (unlike my bachelor which seemed never ending). I think it would be great to actually have time to have a LIFE (not much of that happening during gradschool LOL) again.

I feel like I'm slowly starting to have a life after finishing my msc! Then of course I had to spend 6 months job hunting! Then coming to grips with a new job. But overall much more freetime than last year!!!

Exciting and sad. I still feel sad about not attending university anymore. It was such a carefree a fun time. Now is great as well, just different and not carefree anymore - lols.

Do you have any idea where you want to work once you return from Helsinki?

LOLZ carefree.... not so much actually.
I cant wait to get out of the financial fredhouse and actually MAKING some money. Chosing this life has prevented me from doing a lot of things (hollidays, going out etc.). Not that I wouldn't do it again in a heartbeat though... but it's nice to see the other side of life aswell:)

I actually just applied for a PhD position at the UvA.
Since I studied experimental science a PhD is the most logical next step.

When will you know if you'll get in? Those spots are probably popular.
