Do you give orders or simple follow what's given to you? Depends. If I was told by a policeman to stick my hands up in the air or else perish from his gun I think I'd follow...But generally I like being the 'leader' and having control over a situation. If I'm in a forced position to follow I'll bend the rules as I see fit~
Is the glass half full or half empty? It's half drunk?
Your favourite drink is? Non-alcoholic: water & different kinds of tea (cold peach ice tea =P) Alcoholic: Margarita, classic.
Smoking. Yes or no? Nope. Stinks and is obviously unhealthy.
Scraping the Surface
What are your interests? Independent Films, World Cinema, Art and its history, Literature, sketching/painting, all genres of music, playing the piano, Final Fantasy, anime and manga, jdramas, laughing, travelling, languages, worldly cuisine, anything cute (that includes guys ^.~) and exploring/having fun~
What are your pet peeves? Fake, dishonest, obnoxious, insensitive, stupidly immature, unresponsive, ignorant, manipulative people, (urghh I've had a whole lot of experience concerning some of them -_-'); I hate any form of nasty racism and unfair prejudice, it certainly isn't tolerated when I'm there; overtly cultish followers who force their belief on you; mentally and physically abusive people; pretentious or OTT showoffs; feeling unbearably hot/cold; being belittled; being told what I can and cannot do; intrusive people who go through my things ._.'; rly macho, pervy men; little spoiled brats >>;
What are your hobbies? Special talents? hobbies are same as interests...As for special talents, I can play the piano at grade 6 standard having not done any grades ^^'; I can dance and sing pretty well from what I'm told; I'm a fast learner; I can imitate native languages pretty well (are all of these even considered special talents? ^^;) er... and I can move my ears back and forth slightly >>;;
Your strengths lie in… and why? keeping cool-headed in dangerous/demanding situations (as for trivial ones that's a different story ^^'); being too honest to the point of being called harsh, I'm usually only truthful cos' that really is the best way to resolve a situation rather than go off on tangents and complicate things; being a loyal and amusing friend (albeit one who also makes too many efforts w/out getting much back sometimes, although that could just be down to bad luck/my current environment ^^'); staying optimistic & determined despite difficult obstacles; being ambitious; being able to move on smoothly and quickly; being practical.
Your weaknesses are… and why? modesty to the point of silliness; keeping personal stress inside to the point of making myself physically ill; readily forgiving people; being self-depricating; procrastinating; lying to make myself seem stronger; taking some things too personally; sometimes getting annoyed/angry too easily; rambling as I am now (sorry readers ^^'); liking weird people xD ; being stubborn; being painfully shy when speaking within a large group of strangers; sometimes holding a past grudge for too long; being somewhat paranoid.
Digging a little Deeper
Who do you admire (whether it be fictitious or real life) and why? I admire Haruki Murakami's writing style, it's beautiful and simply expressed and I feel a close emotional connection even if the storyline has nothing to do with what I've ever experienced, he can really make you feel the characters thoughts and emotions; I admire Ai Yazawa in the same way for making such wonderful stories and real characters such as NANA xDD; I admire those with chronic/fatal conditions who stay optimistic and loving despite the trauma over their mortality; I admire those who take things in their stride, are mentally strong, very friendly, positive, organised and who can instantly cheer ppl up^^
What do you look for in a friend and why? Loyalty as a top priority, general friendliness, willingess to go outside&have fun, open-mindedness, a good/open sense of humour, honesty, someone who isn't judgmental, understanding~
If you were in a rock band, which position would you play and why? Hmm...I'd be the singer, but in reality the shyness would stop that happening ^^;, otherwise I'm pretty much ok with any position, the drums and guitar are both attractive instruments to me ^^
How would your ideal room/apartment look like and why? It would be quite spacious, I'd have a very clean ensuite bathroom, the room would be almost zen-like, uncluttered, but with cute and unique things that make it my room, it would show my cultural side, and would have pretty&interesting patterns here and there, there'd be one or two medium-sized windows, and a balcony perhaps...Although I also like those very simple new york-style rich apartments with glass panes as windows ^^;; *fickle*
If you were a piece of jewelry what would you be and why? Perhaps a delicate-looking silver necklace that upon closer inspection has a very pretty glittering, coloured pendant *not sure*
From the Manga
Who is your favorite character and why? I pretty much love all of them; they're all original and have their good and bad sides. But if I had to choose, I'd say Nana for her loyalty and rebellious nature, Hachi for her trusting nature, childish cuteness and (initial) naivity, Nobu for his kindness and genuinely good intentions, Miu for her constant mahjong winning streaks xD her practical advice & composure, Yasu for just being cool lol and his generosity, and Naoki for being random and cute :D
Who is your least favorite character and why? Yuri... >( she ruined everything >.< Well, that's not entirely true, but she's so annoying and easily jealous >>; Generally I just don't like really anything about her ._.' Takumi is...sometimes ok and other times not ^^;
Your favorite pairing? And why? Nobu and Hachi were perfect for one another, but that dream seems to be lost ;_; Nana and Ren have an almost obsessive romance which is interesting since it keeps changing.
Your favorite relationship? And why? Nana and Hachi of course. Soul mates forever~
