In short, Satan does not want us to live a life doing what God has created us to do, for His glory and the spread of His name. He wants to paralyze us by painful experiences, by making us feel as though we are inadequate and incapable of doing what will ultimately be the most fulfilling way we could possibly live.

This morning I was mulling over and praying over a lot of the same sorts of spiritual battle types of things you mentioned here. I feel like I just have to share some of the encouragement I received

i loved what you said about facts, faith, feelings. it's not as hard for me to do the right thing despite what i feel... it's hard for me to BELIEVE it in my head and stop dwelling on my feelings that are not true and not Godly! but thoughts lead to actions, so in a way, not fighting my feelings right off the bat is going to lead to sin anyway. :\

fix my eyes on Jesus. fix my eyes on Jesus. fix my eyes on Jesus. i'm gonna repeat that to myself as often as necessary. :)
