A life altering surgery

At 77 years of age, I never expected to be going through a hysterectomy of all things!!! I was diagnosed with Stage I Cancer and a D&C was followed by the complete hysterectomy. Wow, Nancy - quite an update! I'm glad to hear you are on the mend. I'm sure your holiday will be not only a treat but also an incentive.

I'm enjoying life here in the suburbs. A change is as good as a rest, right?

A new job? Nope, and I'm not looking for one. :) I retired from the workforce in January 2011. Tim's office moved here from downtown Seattle in January 2012, so that's why we came. He walks to work now - no nasty commute for him!
