Thanks so much Nance. What a treat this was. Sorry it took me a few days to read. I really loved this, I adore the strays verse. (As you know!) Great to see them all again, including my nemesis Albert, I enjoyed the sniping between him and Ianto.
This was so great as it was plotty, and tense, but with all the lovely character moments, and I love how you are still subtlety developing the story of poor Stephen and his struggle to cope.
Thanks, that's so sweet. Ditto it cheers me up to see you still writing, I can't believe we are both still around five whole years down the line.
Still it's better than trying to read the Exodus Code, just trying to read it at the moment, such nonsense I can't believe it. I suspect there's no tie in novels with reading now so the fact there's still some decent fan fic around is nice. I think LJ doesn't have that much happening anymore either, there's a bit on ff.net, I don't look that much anywhere else but keep a bit of an eye out..
I hope those other stories get published as well, more Stephen in this verse would be interesting.
:) Tie-ins are forever hit and miss. I liked the audiobooks and the radio plays, which is why they got a showing here. Unless the new radio plays are really good, we're probably at the end of good pro material for the fandom.
Hey, since it's just you and me here, do you want a story? I've got 199 fics at AO3 now. I could write one more if you've got a character or two and a prompt.
Yay! I love how messed up and complicated they all are, how they are all still traumatized from previous events and alternate timelines. How Gwen still almost remembers some of what happened, or how she realizes that she's forgotten, how poor Jack is still so terrified of losing Ianto again but also managing to move on. The relationship between Ianto and Steven, still important but also changing as time goes on and Steven gets older. And Johnson! That was unexpected. Lovely story, in a dark, traumatized kind of way!

Steven is getting there. Eldar's written some lovely pieces with him set in this storyverse that I hope will see the light of day sometime soon.
Thanks for coming by! It always makes my day to see you here. :D
