As for what Hath-Set says to Katar? Probably just wants to know how his trip went and if he brought him back a souvenir. "My King conquered Nebet and all I got was this lousy T-shirt." ;-)
And the countdown to the point of the excrement hitting the fan begins...
Another great chapter! The rooftop scene when she shows him the limits that must be set for their loving, when Shayera remembers how she and Katar used to be, and when they dream of another life together... Wonderful.
And is it just my perception, or is Ishpi patterned after a certain other Leaguer?
A few of the supporting cast are patterned after other people. Ishpi existed as a concept for about ten minutes before he became an earlier incarnation of a certain red-haired young man. Good eye, btw.
I have dropped reviews elsewhere on this wonderful story. But I wanted to let you know that this is extremely well done. You've added so much depth to the characters that this story will certainly influence the way others write about them in the future. Well done! :)

I liked the conversation between Bashari and Chayara about their possible future, on their farm and their children.
Looking forward to the next update.
Keep up the fanastic work ;o)
I am really enjoying this story.
