Oh my, and you've written more delightful timey wimey stuff.
The shrink is brilliant - as in the very astute round up of Jack Harkness. Reference to Stockholm syndrome in Jack's staff, very apt.
I love this already, will read more tomorrow.

omg, why am I now asleep? T_T

Its so very difficult to try and understand a story that you don't understand to begin with (this is what happens when I watch Torchwood without knowing anything about Doctor Who), but its near impossible when its 3am. *dies*

and like every other time when he'd made a similar discovery, that the world would not end without someone Jack loved in it, he died a little in a way that had nothing to do with immortality.

I died a little inside too. Poor poor darling Jack. And even though he doesn't know it, poor Ianto. I find it tragic that he wouldn't remember loving Jack.

Also, love Dr. Sheffield.
