I'll admit that I expected the reason Isabelle showed up to be Kyle had been incommunicado. (Reminds me of the early days of my marriage when my mother-in-law would call every Saturday morning, just as things were getting interesting. We finally trained her to call at other times.)

We got a number of those calls, too, typically just when the fun was starting. Nowadays, the interruption tends to be from a six year old, usually naked, asking what the weather is going to be. :)

I'm so glad we got more of a conclusion for Kyle and Tony, because I was horrified when I found out Tony was stuck in prison. (Yes, I knew he got out, still) The best parts about this fic are the awkwardness-es, actually. (He wasn't handsome, not really, but you'd never know it. THIS LINE.)

The parts about Ianto made me very misty-eyed. Yeah, he gets the life he wanted... blah, blah, blah... But he's still sick and it's bloody awful and sad.

I adore Kyle and Tony fumbling their way through their relationship. Tony's optimism provides a nice balance to Kyle's insecurities.

Aww this is lovely. I've always loved Kyle, I love how he can have Jack for a parent and still be so sexually niave. So nice to have you writing more in this AU. Except of course I hate having to face my denial about Ianto and his poorly heart.

I was a bit worried about Kyle's nakedness at the end, I hope he did get some underwear on at least.

So I assume the job was set up by the parents? Given they knew about it and told Isabelle?

He's managed to have a very weird life. I am amused at the idea that someone who grew up around Jack (and raised by the screwing-like-bunnies Jack/Ianto/Lisa triad) was a virgin until he was 25. (There's a story I'm not writing, just brain candy, where the rest of the family finds out about that detail.)

I hope he did get some underwear on at least.

He did. The dressing gown was getting drafty. ;)

The job was not set up by the parents, though they were starting to consider it. Kyle told Lisa, who called Isabelle and Callie to tell them the good news. Isabelle tried calling Kyle, who didn't answer. (Off-screen stuff was off-screen.)

I thought they realised about the virginity, but maybe it was just because they did realise he hadn't dated anyone. Still I quite like that Kyle has some privacy as well, which sounds like a rare commodity with those siblings.

They know he didn't date much, but that he dated a little, and since part of the narrative was the estrangement, they didn't spend a lot of time having in-depth conversations about life. (Especially when the girls were still out of the loop.) I think Isabelle knows, but for the rest, it never occurred to them to ask.

I'm going to end up writing this, aren't I?
