I really loved this addition to this verse and it really fleshes out his moments in When This Long Trick. Very poignant and kind of tragic
even though it's actually a happy ending in a way.
I could just imagine Jack's reaction to seeing Steven again. I really felt for him. And Steven when Hilda was trying to get rid of him.
Poor guy. First his grandfather offs him for "the greater good" and then when he gets a second chance his mother's ship
develops a vendetta against him.

Thanks! Yeah, Steven can't catch a break. (Seriously, Hilda needs some therapy of her own, because she's convinced Alice will abandon her after she has Steven back, and she wants her two mommies to herself. Artificial intelligence, who knew?)

Hilda needs a therapist! Or maybe a Donna to put her right.

This was lovely and more than a little heartbreaking. For all that these folks have their ways of not-dying, it's still not precisely easy for them to go on living, is it?

All the love, always, for Jenny and Alice together, and apprentice time-traveler Steven. :)

I should write Hilda visiting a psychiatrist. Because that would be AWESOME.

For all that these folks have their ways of not-dying, it's still not precisely easy for them to go on living, is it?

It's not, no. But given the trauma they've all been through, it's going to take them a long time to get past it.

All the love, always, for Jenny and Alice together

They are my happy invented pairing! :) Thanks for reading!

Yay for backstory!
After reading the last installment I was curious what could have made Alice to let Stephen go, so thank you for the story behind it.
I love lovely bittersweet installments <3

Thanks! The weird thing is, I always knew she left him, and always knew why, and for some reason, assumed everyone else knew, too. :)
