I loved this!

“I wish I had been brave enough to come out when my friend did,” said the guy. “I’m pretty sure I was in love with him but I just couldn’t face admitting that I was gay. He was the sweetest person I’ve ever met.”

Aww. I am glad Kevin ultimately realized this--better late than never. He did miss out on the sweetest, most beautiful person ever but Luke is with the person he is meant to be with. I do want this Kevin to find someone though.

Thanks so much! I totally feel that the way the character was written and played, it really could have gone with Kevin being in love with Luke. I think maybe they were considering that but decided to hold off on letting Luke get a boyfriend. They could have done the whole Luke falls in love with closeted guy with dysfuctional family with Kevin instead of Noah. I'm just trying to remember if the Kevin actor was a better actor than Noah.

Thanks! I actually edited the fic to make Kevin bi instead of gay because he did seem to enjoy sexing with the ladies. Although I don't know how insistant he was with pressuring them to give him sexy, sexy backrubs.

Thanks! I'm pretty sure I was spoiled when Noah came along and knew that he was there as Luke's love interest. But given the fact that he didn't want to have sex with Luke [his boyfriend of over a year], it did seem to cast some doubts on his homosexuality.

Thank you very much! Luke gets to end up with Reid. Kevin gets to end up with Roth [only in my fanon]. Noah gets to end up in counseling. All's right in the world.
