So funny! I love that incorporated older characters like MJ, Jessica and Ben. I miss ATWT!

Thank you! I do miss the show too but if I'm honest with myself I was probably just as often annoyed by the show as I was charmed by the show. I wasn't in love with any of the final storylines other than the Reid/Luke storyline even if I did still enjoy some of the other characters still [Lucinda, Henry, Casey]

The show's writers did such a lovely job establishing the Luke and Reid banter. It really added to the sense that Luke was a confident adult in that he never backed down from Reid. It's interesting that while that characterization was developing it was overlapping with his characterization of being the ever-apologizing doormat with Noah. The triangle was pretty darn lopsided from the start [an interesting contrast to when they brought in Mason who I don't think anyone saw as a threat to Nuke].

MJ. He left the show as a tot but he has all kinds of Oakdale connections. His mom is Iva Snyder [the adopted sister of Holden, Meg, etc.,]. Iva is the biological mother of Lily [and thus Luke's biological grandmother]. MJ's dad is John Dixon. So he's the half-brother of Margo [as well as the half brother of characters no longer on the show like Kim's son Andy]

And I totally love Reid and Lucinda's connection, them texting at a board meeting is awesome. ;)

Thank you so much! Kathryn Hayes did such a great job with the scene with the actor playing Chris at the time when he confessed to his mother that he had committed perjury over the sexual harassment allegations. her disappointment and anger were spot on.
