I just got home after spending the night in the emergency room with one of my elderly neighbors. I took the dogs for a walk, fed the cats and dogs and was headed to bed when I decided to do a quick check of my email. When I saw the LJ notice that you had posted a new entry I felt...joy. Actual joy. Ms. Nancygrew, I don't think I have ever missed a writer as much as I have missed you.

I am too tired to read this much wanted new story now, but I will be doing a happy dance in my sleep just thinking about it!!!! :)

Hooray you are back.

I love your work and was just rereading all your fics for the seventh time.

I am feeling so happy that you are writing for this group again and even starting on a completely new story.

I loved that Luke got Reid to help Damian. I always loved him.

I am curious to see where this is going.

Thank you so much for the kind welcome back. I think if I had known that some people would re-read my fic, I might have been more careful with typos. Sorry about that. I hated that they started writing Damian like he was a cartoon!

I honestly don't mind the typo's.

They make you more human instead of just the ghost send down to create the best version of oakdale present with the best memory of oakdale past and only putting good things in the oakdale future.

Yeah i am a fan ;-)

You should've been at my house to hear the cheer that went up when I discovered you had posted. I've been thinking about you a lot lately, wondering how you are.

Passanante syndrome! That's serious! (If not fatal!) No wonder Luke called in/blackmailed the best. btw - I always love the recounting of various characters' past. I just know it blows Reid's mind. But he was able to stay snarky, so I know he is still okay. And if he is able to heal/redeem Damian (NutMeg really did a number on him), that's more than okay with me.

Looking forward to the next chapter!

Thanks so much! I've been well, just busy. Well, and losing my computer twice [there are two stories that I had worked on that I may try to write again]. I figure if soaps can bring James Stenbeck back from the dead a dozen times then they can redeem Damian by having had him being the victim of a horrible brain disease that only Dr. Oliver can cure.
