It's lucky that Survival in the Office even has a bilingual edition, because I don't think Del Rey would ever pick that series up, and probably not the other publishers who deal with Kodansha as well. It probably is considered too obscure for an American audience right now.
I don't know much about Katte ni Kaizou, but I think the publisher may work with Dark Horse? You might want to send a letter to Carl Horn. :D (Solidark and I have our own opinions on his views in some locked FL entry...) But I bet Dark Horse would be the best chance for that series.
Fun Fun...Well I'll read it! ^_^ I've heard about it but I haven't had the chance to read it yet

I think the idea of the bilingual books is very smart because both Japanese and English speakers will buy them. But it must not have sold very well, and they probably didn't want to release 20 volumes of something they were losing money on.
I get daunted by very long series. That's a big investment in money and bookshelf space. In Japan, if it's a continuing series that you started with in a magazine, your purchases are spread over a long period of time so you can get suckered into it :P. But here, if you already know it's a hella long series before you start buying it, it's a harder sell.
I get annoyed when people say that all shojo is the same. It isn't--I agree.
There is good BL (~"yaoi"~) out there, but I don't think the publishers who have released titles here have done them any justice at all. And of course there are many more crappy titles out than good ones.
I really like [this title]--the narrative is amazing--but it's a complicated book and I'm not sure if they'll be able to execute it properly. It's not what I would
