Happy new year, lady! Man, that is a HELL OF A LOT OF TEACHING. Hopefully you won't always have such a big load - but all the teachers I know either started out scrambling for even quarter-time work, or working the equivalent of 80 hours a week. It seems like you only get close to a humane working schedule after a lot of moving around, climbing up the seniority ladder, and figuring out what actually works for you.

I know a bunch of kiddos all heading to kindergarten for the first time this year. I hope they end up having at least one teacher as kickass as Nancy Freakin' Wassner.
