Definitely good, or sort of anyway. Poor Mike, he's such a sweetie, in a homicidal vampire kind of a way.

Now that, the cutting in half! of Mike, that was unexpected.
Very much liked,
“I claim them all!” Dawn declared, with no idea what claiming entailed but grabbing what felt like an opportunity.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Damn, you're a savage writer.

The Supplice...Dawn's claiming them all...MIKE!!!
And Spike trying. As ever.

Boy, you've done excellently to pack in so much plot, so much action, and so much information, all in Dawn's POV.

I'm breathing fast.

And, hurting one of the boys, Spike, Mike...you've hit me in between the joints of my armor. Gah.

When one does the setup right, the delivery can be simple and direct. I'm glad it worked for you!

Yes! Wow! I'm breathless and in pain but also hopeful (Mike's not dust, Dawn is going right to the blood) . . . and the Spike/Angel moment--superb, as usual. You can master so many different kinds of pacing, never losing the characterization as you do . . . amazing.

Wow. Again. rhondac May 13 2005, 17:19:48 UTC
I'll never understand how you manage to hit the reader between the eyes so unexpectedly. Damn I wish I was as good as you. :-(

Poor Mike. Just the thought of these two wet, separate Mike-pieces is emotionally disturbing.

I did love the piece between Angel and Spike. Kudos to Spike for pushing Angel as far as he did--as far as he could, since the Supplice. NOT impressed by Angel's attitude toward Mike. "Oh. That one." Can I kick him where it hurts? Please?
