So last night, after many adventures - including me writing down the wrong address and getting us lost in-dee-ghetto at 10pm, then going around in circles for another half hour in Logan Square, then finding the perfect spot, only to find that they only took cash at the door, and the ATM right next to the place was out of order, then taking another ( Read more... )

I forgot once that the Kansas City I was supposed to go to was in Missouri NOT Kansas and that led to some very confusing times.

I was going to a concert with a friend, and I was told it was in a library. The girl I was going with was kind of flakey (I ended up having to do everything on this trip) and right when I was supposed to be LEAVING asked me to print out directions and in my frazzled state I put "kansas city, kansas" instead of "kansas city, missouri" (because there are both you know). Fortunately we straightened ourselves out, crossed the river into missouri found the right library and caught the very end of the concert. *lol*
