This is my modified recipe of a pizza I love to make. If you love buffalo wings but don't want to use the 100 napkins the mess will surely bring you, try this recipe. I'm still trying to perfect it so it's not perfect, but it is tasty!

Buffalo Chicken Pizza

* 1 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
* 2 tsp olive oil
* 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
* 1/2 tsp garlic powder
* 2 tablespoons butter, melted
* 2 ounces hot sauce, I use Frank's
* 6 ounces ranch or blue cheese salad dressing, whichever you prefer
* 1 (16 inch) prepared pizza crust, from scratch or store-bought
* 1/4 tsp oregano
* 1/4 tsp basil
* 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
* 4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese

Directions
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Place olive oil in pan on stove, medium heat, add cubed chicken, italian seasoning, and garlic, mixing well. Cook until chicken is no longer pink inside.
  • In a medium bowl combine the cooked chicken, melted butter, hot sauce, and salad dressing. Mix well. Spread mixture over crust and sprinkle the oregano and basil evenly over crust. Top with both cheeses.
  • Bake in preheated oven until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly, about 5 to 10 minutes. Let set a few minutes before slicing, and serve.

    Notes:
    -I like to use this recipe for my crust. I brush the crust with olive oil and crushed garlic before adding my toppings.
    -My crust tends to not cook thoroughly with all the toppings on it, so when using raw pizza dough, my suggestion is to let the crust pre-cook for about 5-7 minutes, ,then add the toppings.
    -You can use any seasonings for this pizza you like, but I prefer the flavor that the italian seasonings provide with this pizza. Or you can simply remove them from the recipe.
