I admit that I DID leave out a bit of what we cover in a typical US history class- the Louisiana purchase and Manifest Destiny (and the 10-bajillion western movies that resulted of that), but that was pretty much 'we bought land! And then we stole some from natives! YAAAAAY!" 8DDDD And...we might have a bit on the civil rights movement, maybe.
