1. What is your current main mode of transportation? e.g. car, bike, subway, walking, etc.

It’s equally split time-wise between car, train, and walking when it comes to commuting. Distance-wise, the furthest section traveled is by train. It would take me far longer to get to work if I went only by car (or indeed by walking).

I really prefer driving to anything else ... but I hear you on the parking.

It is the most flexible option, for sure. I just find it very tiring, especially on unfamiliar routes.

That does sound unpleasant, especially on a work trip.

Here are my answers:

1) I myself don't drive, but my sister Maddie commutes to work via car.

2) Yes

3) I don't think so. We are thinking of "downsizing" to an older car (or at least one that we can buy outright and not have to agonize over re: monthly payments).

4) I'd still choose a car.

5) Ummm the only I can think of at the moment is, when in Italy, the four of us (my mom, my godmother, my sister, and I) were stuck on a train heading to Milan for what seemed like forever. It was so hot and sticky. I think I fell asleep at one point. When I woke up, we still hadn't budged! Eventually we got going, but I still don't know what caused the holdup.
