The 100-float parade in El Escorial took over three hours to get around the monastery. It was only going up the hill to the hermitage, and apparently it stays up there for the day and then comes back down again in the evening. My colleague said they were still outside the hotel dancing and singing when we arrived back at midnight-ish from the Cluster re-entry event.
