On the other hand, London is horribly expensive to live in

My gosh, it must be! I watch a TV show called "House Hunters International", and am amazed at what it costs to rent a small flat/apartment in London.

Yes, it's even worse than it was when I was living there more than a decade ago. A friend who still works in London recently bought a place (3 bed, semi-detached, with garden) in one of the satellite commuter towns - over an hour away by train - and their mortgage plus bills is now the same amount as they were paying in rent alone for a one-bed flat.

I'm not sure city life is for me at this stage of my existence. Same here. I'm definitely a small town kind of girl! ;-)

I never thought I would be, but I am these days! I think it's partly because the constraints of my life are such that I can't take advantage of a lot of the perks of city living, and partly that I'm tiiiiiired. :D

Neat answers!!

1) That's a good question - if money was no object, I'd move back to Chicago, to live near the city, not in the city.
2) Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and Italian.
3) It was a long time ago, back when I was in junior high, with my grandparents in Niagara Falls.
4) The longest plane ride is definitely from Dulles, Washington to Heathrow Airport in London, England - I did NOT get any sleep during that entire plane ride.
5) Eostia.

Chicago is great and I totally agree a suburb would be ideal (with good transport link in to the city).

I also like your language choices and country name. :)
