Today at work a friend mentioned that I’m arrogant. Cracked me up because even though a. I can see why she think that and b. it’s totally true, it (as with most declarations of essentialist characteristics) highlights the paradoxes implicit in personality.

Getting treats for being a good monkey always confused and ultra pleased me.

Being called arrogant and being ok with it is something I haven't been able to do yet. Mostly because I don't feel arrogant, I'm just good at stuff and I know it... not my fault that others have self confidence issues :-)

And you are not boring. But you already knew this.
