Yesterday I became suddenly acutely and uncomfortably aware that my clothes didn't fit. Now it's no longer just that my jeans have ceased to cup my ass appealing, or that my favorite thigh-highs won't stay up (excuse to buy garter belt!), now my boobs kind of feel like shriveled fruit inside the husk of my bra ( Read more... )

Those are the stores where I have bought bras in the past--but I'm looking for something cheaper this time around.

It's always worth having undies for when your weight fluctuates, it makes the whole process more comfortable.

Also, I hope your boobs aren't actually shriveled, ew!

Sadly, I do actually still have some old bras... But my band size/cup size relation is not shrinking in the same way it grew. (Hmmm... Duct tape time?)

Stay away from Target fat girl bras. That's the only advice I have.

JcPenny often has sales on the bras (Bali Hanes etc)--make sure to have the sales lady measure you so you can get the currently right size.

Also, the evil empire (Walmart) carries some $6-8 bras that do the job.
