The joy of learning

In my first semester, I took General Biology and during the first week of classes we (my classmates and I) had to take a diagnostic test with questions about genetics, mitosis, taxonomy, botany, zoology, microbiology, etc. A little bit of everything. Oh, if I could be one of those students, I'd jump at it in a heartbeat, believe me! I managed one-half a semester in one single class before work interferred and I had to drop, and haven't been able to return yet.

I love the feeling you get when you realise you actually know something you didn't, and you didn't realise until just then that your mind had absorbed this, filed it away, and knew exactly when and where to pull it back out.

I don't blame you. I wish i had the time and resouces to study different and more interesting things.. but we don't. I just do what I can while doing what I am doing. I guess you could aways entertain yourself with a variety of electives.
