For character relationships, history and details about Rex @ thewake_rp, check out his section at the Wake Wiki (though it is currently in need of an update).
Rex is half Mexican and half Argentinian (his mother was born in Mexico City, his father in Buenos Aires). He mixes Spanish in here and there in canon (and does tend to lean toward Mexican and urban slang), therefore I do the same when posting and tagging. As his brother Caesar has made note of before, however, Rex's usage is at times a little on the unsophisticated side, so occasionally what comes out of his mouth may be a bit odd. Anyway! Unfortunately, I am not fluent in Spanish; I took three consecutive years of language instruction in the mid 1990's and while I do remember some of what I learned, I am pretty rusty. I rely on online Spanish/English dictionaries, translation sites and cultural information websites to aid me with proper language usage. I try to cross check everything as much as possible, including slang, but it's very possible that at some point I will mess something up, somewhere. If you catch me using improper Spanish, feel free to correct me. I only ask that you be polite when you do. Thank you! :)
