Actually, I think my teacher's aware of him - she is pretty hard on everyone in the class - except him. She treats him with kid gloves, I think, because she knows what's up. There's definitely something off with him... some trauma or something, I dunno. I've noticed that people who come home from Iraq are often seriously messed up. Before I found out he'd been overseas, I'd wondered if maybe he was autistic or something.

A neo-nazi? Jeeze! I hope not! I hadn't thought about it... although I wouldn't be completely surprised, to be honest.

there because of a rehab program? I've never heard of anything like that... but if he was in Iraq he's probably going to school for free (or close to - assuming the VA still foots the bill these days... do you know if they do? I knew that many of the Iraq vets were having a hard time just getting their hospital bills paid... so I dunno).
