Okay, look, when a thing is not actually Resident Evil, and the only thing I want is that it not turn into Resident Evil, and then it turns into Resident Evil, I think I am justified in complaining!

Especially since there's so much Resident Evil on the marketplace as it is.

...the more I think of it, the problem isn't that they went too far, but it's that they didn't go far enough. If they had hired D.C. Douglas to voice him, and included the unintentionally hilarious dialogue of the RE series, I think I would've been much more open to the changes in the game.

So what you're saying is, they did not go too far enough?

(Man, it's got all the elements for an over-ambitious RE-style plot. Ridiculously counter-productively evil corporate scientists, loads of swearing, disease without even vaguely plausible properties, little girl as MacGuffin, homo-eroticism between the male villain and the male lead...)
