My muse and I have a complicated relationship. After a solid ten years of serious writing, off and on, I've come to accept that. Some months I get nothing, I don't have the fiction inspiration to manage a pithy post-signature. Others I have idea after idea, but they're all fanfic.

Sorry...my muse takes regular breaks too. Sometimes for years at a time. Those muses are fickle creatures. Still, fanfic is writing, even if you don't intend to do much with it. And I think that's a good thing!
