I have thumbs! Celia's parts seem to be flowing nicely enough but I'm not sure about Gwen from page 35 onwards. Opinions? (Also, working without a script as much as I have with these thumbs is not recommended.) I had plans to also thumb chapter nine during June but that might not be happening now. I don't know. I just want to get to doing actual ( Read more... )

so for your character design, try these site! https://locksofelegance.wordpress.com/ this one for medieval, georgian, regency, georgian and victorian hairstyle, or Miss Garriger's livejournal! She always give reference or funny part of the victorian times (also, read her stories :D vampire, ghost, werewolves in victorian steampunky time!) http://gailcarriger.livejournal.com/

Ooh, thank you for the link! While BD is set (current storyline) in the Edwardian era (1912) I have plans to have a prequel set in the 1880's. Also, the older generation was a little slow to move on with the fashions between Victorian to Edwardian, there being an overlapping, mostly the older generation holding onto the fashions of their youth, I can give Gwyneth a somewhat more Victorian up-do. (Think Dpwager Duchess of Grantham, if you've seen Downton Abbey.)

I did not know the incomparable miss Garriger had a blog! Thank you so much for correcting this oversight on my part!*hugs* :) I have devoured through her Parasol Protectorate books already and I was not aware she'd written more books! (Her books are so great! I'm actually considering trying to lobby for a translation of the Parasol Protectorate... by translating myself and pitching them to some of the smaller publishers. There is already a Swedish translation, I'd think a Finnish one would sell just as well, even with booksales being what they are.)

Oh man there's some excellent expressions going on even with it being thumbnails good luck! I've got eight thumbnails and so far only two of them have been completed which does not bode well for me. I'm glad to see you trucking right along tho yes!

Really? I always worry over my expressions as not being quite up to snuff. Yay. next thing to tackle: backgrounds... (I can sorta do outdoorsy bg's if it's a forest or a field, no cities, but the interior of rooms is... tricky.)

I'm sure you'll do great, yourself. And remember every new page is a new page you didn't have before.
