I think i might have missed a spot of dialogue on the previous pages. The Tevvja/Aren conversation was supposed to end "You're mine as long as I say you are, Tevvja. You'll do well to remember that. Or I may just have to invite that pet noble of yours for a 'talent show'."
I'm playing catchup this weekend since this whole sequence gave me SO MUCH trouble. I think I re-thumbed pages 7-10 about twenty times a piece. x.x
The good news is i'm entering a much easier section. Hopefully I'll have more to show tomorrow.
