Wow. You have me crying my poor little heart out now.
This was absolutely beautiful and so, so, so heartbreaking.
Let me worship you forever (If you hand me a kleenex first).

Aww, I'm sorry! It wasn't meant to be heartbreaking, exactly. I'd hoped mention of a sequel would cheer everyone up...

But thanks for reading! There's a lorry full of Kleenex out back.

Beautiful word pictures. I feel the heat and my mind vividly pictures this scene. But yes, there must be a sequel and now I must go back and reread it and let all the moments really seep into me. You have such a lovely gift for making me lose track of where I am and being dragged into the story so that when it ends it's almost an abrupt return to reality.

I would like to politely request a sequel, because I need to know more about Rex and his dog and Jimmy Novak and his sweating :-) And what happens when Dean er Rex gets to the motel room.

Great setting up of the scene, the feel of the town, the way the townsfolk act around strangers, and how Rex was taken in over the years but really -- he doesn't belong.

I do want to know just how he got there.

There is definitely a sequel coming. Originally I'd planned to make it all one fic, but I wasn't sure how people would respond to Mr. Kristofferson; consider this the test drive! But I'm really happy you liked it. :)

OH.

This was just lovely. There's just something so heartbreaking and melancholy about all this.

And yes. A sequel! Pretty please. :D

Definitely sequel! I can't promise it'll lessen the melancholy, but at least there will be sex. Y/y?

I typically accept an ending for what it is but I think it's alright that I'm gonna yell MORE-RIGHT-KNOW. Because I want to know what's going on so badly! This is such a fascinating world, I want to fully understand it. So yes, this is me nicely asking for a sequel, don't make me beg! Wonderful work, so well done.

Heh, for once in my life I'm actually glad to write a sequel and not demand that everyone content themselves with the ending. :P No need to beg, though the effort is always appreciated.

Thanks for reading!
