Upcoming Book Release!

Exciting news, friends!

My first novel, Bombora, will be available to purchase through Dreamspinner Press as of August 31, 2012. As you might imagine, I am stoked for the release and can’t wait to share it with you. This novel has been in the works for over a year, and to be honest I almost can’t believe the date is so quickly approaching!

I gotta say, though, re: leaving the original version up or not, publishers tend to get very possessive about the text that they're asking people to pay for, and are generally not amused to find that a version of the story is available for free. The way I dealt with this (and the publisher really got up my ass about the original text, so I went to PDF) was to offer the fic version up until the published version went live.

But I'm all about repurposing fic for original writing purposes, so GO YOU! It's hard work to make the transition! \o/
