is it crazy to go to greece for 2 weeks next month, by myself?  well, i have friends there, so not TOTALLY by myself.  i don't speak the language, and i usually go with someone who does, but I think i could manage.  would spend little time in athens, and most of it on the beach in paros, i think

it's not crazy - especially if you have friends there. my best friend went to germany last summer, alone, and didn't really speak the language, or know anyone there. she had a great time and ended up meeting a nice guy, who she's still long distance dating, and is in germany again this summer. so, go for it lady!
