So, I found this meme and cheated. The idea is to randomly list twelve characters from a fandom and then answer the questions, replacing each number with the appropriate name. Huh. It would change canon a lot… Rem would turn on Light, since Misa was happy with someone else. With both of them out of L’s way… I don’t think it would be too out-of-character for either of them if L declared the dead Light to be Kira and said that he’d used Misa as a stalking horse, getting her off the charges. He’d then basically condition Misa into being a human pet/sex-toy, and she’d happily go along with it.
I wouldn’t be thrilled, because my favourite character was Light (sane or crazy) and my favourite part was Light and L interacting, but then I wasn’t thrilled with L’s death… Hmmm.
