The other day I was driving down a dirt road towards a campground for work. Only goin 30kph cuz there's theoretically kidlets around that might run across the road. A good day. Whipped into the city for a break away from things. I wandered the Strathcona Farmer's Market and picked up a few veggies, some tea and some yummy looking mustards (hickory smoked honey, wasabi & mesquite). I'm quite looking forward to tasting those puppies! mmm mmm mmm...

I love this time of year. All the flowering trees are in bloom and wherever you walk you can smell their sweet scent. Lovely...
Except for the random snowfalls still. I hear tell Mayerthorpe got 4 inches over the weekend. We only had rain & frozen rain so I guess we were slightly better off. But still, it's almost summer! -

Went to Edmonton last Saturday to enjoy the fabulous weather (in complete contrast to the May Long weather) as well as some lovely shopping opportunities. The Stop & Shop crafters market was on where I was able to pick up a messanger style bag & a lovely hairstick and has the opportunity to oggle a wide variety of differeny neato things that I had ( Read more... )
