A year ago i was pretty sure i wouldn't sit on the SAT but then i kinda changed my mind so it's a bit late for serious Bg-exam preparation with auspicious outcome. Moreover, Sofia University, where i want to study in BG, does not offer a very good journalism program. I mean, you graduate without any special knowledge- it's more theoretical than practical- so the better choice is to study Bulgarian philology and then specilaise in journalism. But BG philology is TEDIUM itself so no way!hm

Ooops, misspelling. I hope they will be paying for me:)

Thanx a bunch! I'm anxious and superstitious!Lips sealed!

Oh, come on, pray for me to go to Berkley. You can't understand how much i want it. I can't imagine myself living in the States, either but if they accept me i won't think twice before going ( of course Madrid comes first).
I talked to an American journalist and she said that SLU offered a good program, which calmed me down a bit, phew:)
The greatest advantage of the US curriculum is that you can decide on a major even after you enter a university- you have two years of experiments and contemplation.

They are in my records, you know. US news ranks Berkley 12th so that means "no way, girl" but who knows ( I need at least 2200 on the SAT and even then my fate is not certain because they may not like my essay or personality, they may not need people from this part of the world, etc.). Right now we are the College Board guinea pigs because it added a new writing section to the SAT but it's still unclear which universities will take it in mind. Not fair, i would score much higher without this section- it occupies quite a lot of my time.
My biggest problem is not getting there but getting there with a full ( or almost full) scholarship. Anyone wants to sponsor me?:)

Thank ya!:)

It's like whoo hoo! So excited for you. I do hope you get into your school of choice. Well, as for the 2 Uni I mentioned.. I'd love to go there for exchange if possible.. but for the time being... owell.. we'll see it's still too early.
