Ok, there is not much to be said! It was a disappointing morning because Alexander couldn't make it to the semis! I think that he gained confidence after his performance in the last world cup but the truth is that HE CAN'T FIGHT AGAINST TIME...:(Anyway, he'll always be #1 for me!But.....I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestioned ( Read more... )

u just can't imagine how ppl upset with all this... and as i say they put much om him.
its hard to be a star i guess, cos ppl are counting on u and even if u can't make it.
and it doesn't bother them really, they just want BLOOD or medal if u wish.
so the only thing they can do is accuse him.. like being unprepared or...well being old. ha.

I was very very upset ,too, but i have never blamed him. Hasn't he done enough?He's almost 33 after all and the competition in this sport is GREAT!
This reminds me of a similar story with Pete Sampras in 2002. He failed at Wimbledon ,which of course caused a lot of criticism! That encouraged him to win US Open and he did it- against Agassi. He later said that this had been the greatest win for him- i guess because he managed to put all of them to silence! We all now Sasha is a fighter, this is his temporary state and we no-one can change it!It's flat!
Maybe we should make a group hug?:))))

no i actually meant that they took gold medal away from piersol and then GAVE IT BACK!

Yeah, i watched Piersol! I'm not sure whether he would have been given the title back, if he wasn't an American but ah...well....you know how it is. Now everyone is glad, except the Austrian , i suppose...lol
My sister is called Maria too. Masha, Marushka, etc....hehe, you Russians always make up some sweet short names:)
