Test of English as a Foreign Language. It's an American exam- easy and yet a bit insidious. Luck plays a significant role as well! Oh yeah, and the headphones for the listening, because we are in Bulgaria and we can't go without some broken headphones.

It was last week and it didn't go well, that is, not to my expectations and fluency in English...gosh...i'm not even sure whether my English can be assessed as better than the average level. I was not concentrated during the listening and felt the pressure of ppl's expectations ( sms-es like "well come on If you don't take the maximum of points than who will?", or "300 pts, right?"). My range is 270..i should have scored between 280 and 290. I thought i deserved it because everything had been going pretty smooth. A day before the exam i had 49 out of 49 pts on a listening but on the test day i made 5 mistakes out of 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really, i wasn't concentrated and the worst thing was that i knew it and it tortured me during the listening because i imagined ppl's reaction to the outcome, etc. I felt as if i didn't have a right answer...it was horrible. Total failure! I feel stupid and i don't know how i will sit on the SAT when i couldn't even cope with the elementary TOEFL. It's all because of my damn psyche..i'm tired of ppl ( ... )
