Masha, did you hear? Sasha has announced his retirement.....he won't compete anymore....i feel so strange. You see my subject? It's the title of a book by Ben Okri that i long to read...it ( the title) totally describes my feelings about Alexander- a phenomenal swimmer, a great fighter.......a LEGEND!

It's a real pity that i don't get much update about Sasha here, in Bulgaria- only when there's a big swimming event. i also can't find much on the net. Any ideas? I guess you have plenty of sources about him since you live in Russia. Lucky you! I wish i could get his poster too...:(
As far as his life is concerned, the situation here is even worse- pffff....that's sooo bad! So whatever comes to your mind about him, don't hesitate to tell me:)
A Slavish swimming school sounds great!I also feel a strong connection with my fellows Slavs, especilally to Russians- this is thanx to my daddy! Our two countries used to be very very close- now it's not the same, unfortunately!:( I tell you, i'll go to Russia one day- it's one of my long/short-term goals!

well there're a lot information about him but not really good... all that bla bla bla he had failed ( his surname stressed it in a differnt way which means arseman can u believe??? ) i'll try to point u out to quality ones
though everything what i have is in russian. i'll try to provide some translation but don't expect much my engl sux big time.

yeah slavish swimmin school is a great idea, because no other ppl have the same potential. :) we're made of steel baby! (its just a history slavs had the most turbulent and the most impressive history :)
and still :) we both write in cyrilics :) да? к сожалению не знаю ничего по болгарски, но обычно понимаю по словацки и по украински.

In the past , all Bulgarians used to speak it but nowadays we don't. However, i understand some things, for example when i watch Discovery Channel ( ours is in Russian ( ... )
