I don't think there is a nice way of bringing up the fact that I'm MILDLY upset that well, both of my brothers are getting married and I'm not in either wedding.

I mean, hell, I only HAVE two brothers... can't I be in ONE? They're in each others, after all...

....sigh.

I think if I were getting married my parents would pretty much pester me into asking my sister to be a bridesmaid (though we're fairly close so I would anyway but still). XD

I kind of understand that like, their fiancees have their best girlfriends to be bridesmaid and such, but I don't know. It's weird because it's not like I'm uber close to my brothers, but I'm close enough that someone should have offered, you know? LOL. Maybe they'll let me guard the guestbook or something. XD

Aww, yeah, I can understand that, I guess but still! Their fiancees should want to reach out to you, get to know you better and have you for a bridesmaid since they'll soon be a part of your family. I can't believe they didn't ask you! I've always thought of it as being kind of an obligatory gesture.

I kind of thought of it as obligatory to invite immediate family members to help/be in/etc. Like, if I were to hypothetically get married to my current boyfriend, I'd probably ask his biological sister to be IN the wedding, but probably just have his step sister help out. That I could have understood, but they didn't ask me to do anything or whatever. It's not like I'm dreadfully close to either of my brothers, but I mean... you know! XD Maybe because I've known the finacees for over a year each (well, one year for one and about four for the other) they just don't think they HAVE to ask? I dunno. It's weird. And yeah.
