Don't worry about Japanese. You probably already know like, 75% of what you're going to learn in Intro to Japanese 1. You do not learn ANY kanji, only hiragana, katakana, and some very basic grammar/vocabulary foundations. When Angelique took the class, her final was to write and perform a skit with a group. I watched the skit on YouTube and could basically understand everything even though I've never taken Japanese. She has taken a couple of the Japanese classes now and aced them without much difficulty.
BTW, if you still like TM Revolution, I have two TM Revolution CDs Sarah gave me to get rid of.
Yeah, I was hoping that I had a semi-solid enough foundation in Japanese that it wouldn't mess with my German too much. The only part I'm worried about is that on Mondays I have Japanese from 3-5PM and then German from 7-10PM.
I don't know how you can take two language classes at once, taking just one sunk me into boredom (but I guess it didn't help that I knew a lot of the language and being drilled by the alphabet was just sad). XD
XD That's what I'm afraid will happen with German, since I've taken two years of it already, but didn't want to test out of it (it's been like... four years since I took it, but I retained it well). I think it has a lot to do with a desire to take the class too. I tried taking Spanish and dropped after the second day because I hated it so much. XD
